Requirements

The candidate must have prior experience building and managing sales teams in enterprise software, with demonstrated success in growing, scaling, hiring, and managing both SDR and AE teams. Past experience in a high-growth VC-based B2B SaaS company is required, along with experience leading or mentoring sales teams plus an additional 5+ years of general sales experience. A highly-consultative sales approach, a metrics and data-driven mindset with a history of performing above team quota, and the ability to achieve significant results under tight timeframes are essential. The candidate must be located on the East Coast of the United States.

Responsibilities

The Regional Director of Sales will lead a team of enterprise AEs to achieve their sales targets, motivating and coaching them through mentoring, strategy development, and the application of sales methodologies. This role involves reporting key business metrics to the executive team weekly, owning customer relationships throughout the sales cycle, and overseeing sales pipeline generation through outbound efforts and inbound lead qualification. The director is expected to recruit, develop, and enable experienced enterprise sales executives and help develop career paths for salespeople.
