Candidates must live in Washington, Oregon, Alaska, or Utah and possess 5+ years of progressive business experience in the healthcare or biotech industry, including 3 years of field-based experience in account management, sales, and field reimbursement. A Bachelor's degree or higher is required, along with successful biotech/pharma product launch experience and experience in rare or niche markets with a documented track record of exceeding goals. Strong business relationships in GI/hepatology are desired, and experience in competitive marketplaces is preferred. Proven experience working within Hospitals, Academic Institutions, and clinics calling on interdisciplinary care teams is necessary, as is a track record of researching and problem-solving complex issues impacting HCPs while mitigating barriers to patient access to care. A proven record of success through collaborative teamwork and execution, along with a track record of operating in accordance with all regulations and company policies, is essential.
The Regional Account Manager will own their regional business, focusing on increasing HCP awareness and understanding of promoted products. Responsibilities include identifying and establishing strong relationships with key thought leaders and customers, developing and implementing an effective go-to-market plan with short- and long-term business tactics, and identifying key priorities within territories.
