Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap, vision, and strategy from cradle to grave, including budget guidance
  • Incorporate inputs from subject matter experts (SMEs) on Cross Functional Product Team (CFPT) to define problem statements and prioritize product backlog
  • Lead the CFPT and sub-teams in product break-fix needs, constant maintenance, performance improvements, enhancements, and new innovations
  • Define problem statements, product vision + strategy, and maintain product backlog by conducting continuous product discovery, aligning with Commercial teams, knowing users and operations, monitoring KPIs, providing ROI assessments, bringing feedback into backlog, emphasizing continuous improvement and prioritization, and delivering on open items with release schedules
  • Lead CFPT and sub-team collaboration by guiding empowerment for decisions, assigning OKRs, working with other Zoetis functions (team building, facilitation, feedback, psychological safety), communicating priorities/decisions/next steps, owning meeting cadence/agendas/tracking/follow-through, leveraging team for creative solutions, holding teams accountable, and being the VOC
  • Act as internal advocate, product expert, and evangelist by driving product experience in new launches across global markets, supporting preparation efforts, transferring materials/expertise to commercial/medical teams
  • Communicate regularly with Commercial, Medical, and Support teams on updates/deployment plans, creating documentation for training/service
  • Track industry trends and competitive landscape
  • Operate as product owner in ZTD software release process
  • Work with network of research veterinarians/experts in veterinary disciplines
  • Partner with Zoetis Business Development (BD) and GMS External Supply/Procurement to negotiate/re-negotiate agreements if applicable
