  • Using an Electronic Document/Records Management System (EDRMS)
  • Designing and implementing a records repository
  • Complying with Nuclear QA recordkeeping regulations (e.g., ASME NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, NRC RG 1.28, and related DOE directives)
  • Handling and understanding construction and engineering documents and records
  • Applying NARA’s guidelines and practices and NIRMA’s technical guides
  • Tying records management to integrated safety management and change/configuration control
  • Proficiency in MS Word/Excel, Gmail/Calendar, Adobe Acrobat Pro, ERMS system (e.g., SharePoint, Documentum, Devonway)
  • Maintaining and protecting confidential/proprietary information
  • Understanding information management and relational database concepts

Responsibilities

  • Implementing and maintaining records-lifecycle management processes
  • Configuring/managing EDRMS workflows and permissions
  • Implementing process record lifecycle management (type/series identification, classification, indexing, retention, and archival/disposition)
  • Establishing and enforcing retention schedules
  • Writing and updating policies and procedures
  • Supporting DCRM programmatic initiatives and process improvement
  • Supporting QA audits, surveillances, and management assessments
  • Identifying and collecting records metrics for management reporting
  • Maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive information
  • Supervising and mentoring Records Management support personnel
  • Training other department personnel and/or records liaisons
  • Supporting other departments to troubleshoot recordkeeping issues
  • Collaborating with other departments on cross-cutting efforts
