Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, along with strong technical background in software development, particularly in real-time embedded systems and data communication. They should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, solid verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong knowledge of real-time embedded Linux operating systems, Wi-Fi protocols (802.11), C, and C++ programming languages. Extensive experience developing real-time embedded applications under Linux and familiarity with networking technologies, including LAN switching, routing, Ethernet, and IP is required. Knowledge of IEEE standards for Wi-Fi and LAN is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

As a Real Time Embedded Software Developer, the individual will participate in maintaining existing products and providing engineering support to customers, actively participating in the design, implementation, testing, maintenance, enhancement, and support of complex software modules. They will take ownership of software modules, write design documents, and implement or enhance them, while also writing and executing test procedures. The role involves participating in design reviews, code reviews, and providing feedback to peers, as well as mentoring junior developers.
