Candidates should possess a strong background in scalable, light-weight, and highly performing systems, along with in-depth knowledge of low-level Linux OS internals and concepts. They should have experience with concurrency, multi-core, thread development, and synchronization, and a solid understanding of Linux OS, C/C++, and OS Kernel, including driver development. Experience debugging memory corruptions, contentions, and system performance is also required, as is the ability to work effectively with distributed teams and adhere to Agile processes.
As a Sr. Software Engineer, the individual will be responsible for owning features from design to delivery, including participating in product demos and assisting with architecting solutions. They will design and develop sensor platform modules and tools to improve sensor reliability, scalability, and debuggability, focusing on core OS subsystems such as file system, memory, and process, and networking. The role involves leading projects efficiently, maximizing performance and minimizing costs, while maintaining high standards for design, coding quality, and unit/component testing.
