Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in RAN implementation, planning, troubleshooting, and optimization
  • Strong knowledge of LTE, 5G, and NTN technologies
  • Exposure to network protocols, backhaul, and transmission systems
  • Proficiency in network planning tools and KPI analysis
  • Knowledge of EMS and RMS tools for network automation and monitoring
  • Experience in vendor equipment (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, etc.)
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation for network analysis is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and integrate RAN components, including RF, and backhaul network interfaces
  • Ensure seamless integration of RAN equipment into existing network infrastructure across various test and production environments
  • Actively participate in network planning and coverage analysis to ensure the network meets coverage and capacity requirements
  • Proactively troubleshoot RAN and associated component issues to keep up the service quality
  • Collaborate with the technology teams for timely updates, patches, and system improvements in RAN infrastructure
  • Support EMS and RMS operations to enable proactive fault detection and management
  • Troubleshoot GPS Sync, frequency mismatch and any misconfiguration issues
  • Work closely with network operations, design, and planning teams to align RAN implementation with overall network strategy
  • Actively contribute to the ongoing optimization of network performance
  • Maintain detailed documentation of RAN configurations and generate reports on network performance
  • Optimize RAN components' deployment, response, and service restoration time
  • Travel is required to various network sites for deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization activities
