  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Services)
  • Certified radiation safety officer

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all personnel working with or around radiation receive proper training and understand the risks and safety procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with national and local radiation safety regulations
  • Overseeing radiation monitoring, maintaining exposure records, and ensuring safety protocols are followed during radiation use, transport, or disposal
  • Reviewing and checking all daily reports received from rig sites where radioactive (RA) sources are used to ensure completion and compliance with Baker Hughes standards
  • Being responsible for all related tasks to radioactive sources in Drilling Services
