Certified radiation safety officer

Responsibilities

Ensuring that all personnel working with or around radiation receive proper training and understand the risks and safety procedures
Ensuring compliance with national and local radiation safety regulations
Overseeing radiation monitoring, maintaining exposure records, and ensuring safety protocols are followed during radiation use, transport, or disposal
Reviewing and checking all daily reports received from rig sites where radioactive (RA) sources are used to ensure completion and compliance with Baker Hughes standards
Being responsible for all related tasks to radioactive sources in Drilling Services
