Requirements

  • BS in Science or Engineering; background in Wet etch preferred
  • Hands-on experience in semiconductor fabrication processes or analytical lab related environment and hazardous nature of chemicals used for Semicon
  • Familiarity with a range of analytical techniques highly preferred
  • Semiconductor R&D Experience >2 years preferred
  • Experience with D.O.E., process optimization and scale-up highly preferred
  • Ability to travel – 10% travel, teleconferences during off-hours
  • Excellent data analytical skills (plus)

Responsibilities

  • Engage in New Product Development (NPD) of advanced filtration projects and Continuous Improvement Program (CIP)
  • Provide support within the group and cross-functionally as needed to drive innovation and transfer to manufacturing
  • Contribute to NPD roadmap using application knowledge from the Semiconductor industry
  • Lead experiments in the advanced development of filter assemblies and performance testing for cutting edge semiconductor photolithographic processes
  • Lead innovation and develop new technologies, build new ideas that enable New Product Development
  • Work closely with global and local customers via appropriate channels to evaluate next generation filters and understand the correlation between internal metrology and customer results
  • Utilize sound fundamentals like Design of Experiments (DOE)
  • Communicate clearly to leadership, team members, and other key partners
  • Work with global teams by overcoming cultural and language barriers
  • Use global R&D and engineering resources in other time zones
