Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical field
In-depth knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001 or similar), statistical process control, and root cause analysis
Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in quality management within the building materials or concrete products industry
Experience managing quality systems across multiple manufacturing sites, including international locations (preferably US and Mexico)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
Demonstrated leadership, team-building, and project management skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Willingness to travel up to 40% to US and Mexico plant locations
Ability to stand, walk, talk or hear regularly; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms frequently; sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl occasionally; lift and/or move up to 20 pounds occasionally; specific vision abilities required
Preferred Certifications: Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt; Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) by ASQ
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) across multiple US and Mexico manufacturing sites for concrete building products
Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines
Lead, train, and mentor site quality teams to ensure consistent application of quality processes and methodologies
Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes, raw materials, and finished products
Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions
Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, R&D, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues and support new product introduction
Champion continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to enhance product quality and operational efficiency
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, complaints, and audits
Prepare and present regular reports on quality performance, risks, and improvement activities to senior management
