  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing quality issues
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to supplier sites, manufacturing facilities, or project locations

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective and value-add Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with applicable standards and company needs
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including those set by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and other relevant authorities
  • Plan and conduct internal and external audits to verify adherence to quality standards
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies
  • Oversee quality control processes, including inspections, testing, and validation of components and systems to ensure they meet design and regulatory specifications
  • Maintain accurate documentation of quality processes, procedures, and records
  • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure materials and services meet Last Energy’s quality standards
  • Conduct supplier evaluations and audits as needed
