Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Quality Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive Quality Assurance/ISO experience, preferably in distribution, fulfillment, or manufacturing environments
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems
  • Proven leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, and influencing at all organizational levels
  • Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to apply statistical methods and interpret complex data sets
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and statistical software
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience presenting to senior management
  • Demonstrated ability to build cross-functional relationships and foster collaboration
  • Strong leadership presence with ability to drive a cultural shift toward quality and continuous improvement
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, planning, and oversight of the Quality Assurance department and its team members
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) across all DC operations, including inbound, order processing, and outbound
  • Establish, measure, and report on key quality business metrics to monitor performance and drive improvement
  • Ensure instruments and equipment used for quality control are calibrated and traceable to national standards
  • Analyze and report quality control data through statistical methods, charts, and performance reports
  • Conduct internal audits and support external audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards
  • Lead root cause investigations for non-conformance reports and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions
  • Represent the Quality function in process change reviews, technology implementations, and new system evaluations
  • Partner with operations leaders to establish effective quality objectives, identify risks, and implement best practices
  • Plan and deliver quality and reliability training programs across the organization
  • Oversee site ISO 9001 activities, including certification, documentation, and compliance
  • Maintain the Quality Assurance Manual and ensure ongoing alignment with company standards
  • Collaborate with suppliers and customers to resolve quality concerns and ensure continuous improvement
  • Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, and other methodologies
  • Manage the site’s quality budget, resources, and departmental goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned
