Candidates should possess previous mechanical inspection experience, familiarity with AS9102 (FAI), knowledge of GD&T and inspection methodologies, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. They must also be able to work effectively within a quality management system and be ITAR compliant, willing to undergo a background check, and a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
The Level 2 Mechanical Inspector will conduct visual, physical, and dimensional inspections of machined parts, perform incoming inspections from external providers, conduct in-process and final inspections, compile inspection sign-off sheets, verify inspection equipment capabilities, review justification for non-inspected parts, audit and validate inspection plans, document non-conformances, and maintain records within the quality management system.
