Requirements

  • Good to have skills: TypeScript
  • Strong experience with all phases of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) in Agile Methodology
  • Good experience on Java-Selenium-Maven-Junit/TestNG projects
  • Good hands-on experience with Webdriver IO framework and Typescript/Javascript/NodeJS
  • Basic knowledge on Java Programming and framework setup
  • Good experience on APP automation testing in both iOS and Android devices (Appium & Perfecto tool preferred)
  • Automation skills on WEBUI and API testing using Selenium/Rest Assured
  • Experience with REST services
  • Good experience/knowledge on API testing using POSTMAN/SOAPUI (added advantage)
  • Good to have knowledge in Playwright MCP

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle
  • Develop end-to-end testing strategies using business and functional knowledge, quality processes, and methodologies
  • Define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process, including test execution and defect resolution
  • Create, enhance, debug, and run test cases through automation
  • Expertise in Test Planning, Test Case Documentation, Test Design, Execution (Functional, Regression, Exploratory, End-to-End), and Defect Management using Agile methodology and industry-standard tools
  • Automate the test effort as much as possible
  • Organize and monitor defect management process and handle changes
  • Coordinate between test team and development team to solve issues
  • Carry out test execution reports with all details clearly documented for squad/E2E testing and deliver daily QA metrics
  • Support release-level activities for pre- and post-deployments
  • Review, write, and maintain automation scripts
  • Interact with client-side people to solve problems and update situations
  • Find solutions for automation script issues related to object identity, merge issues, and error handling
  • Create plans and coordinate test activities; find/debug solutions for critical defects/blockers during testing
  • Create documentation for all aspects of test validation, including risk assessments; ensure clear Test Entry Criteria (e.g., Test Plan, Estimation, approach, test data, deployment details)
  • Prepare Test Exit Report (TER) and test sign-off metrics; review and approve that testing is completed and documented per agreed strategy
  • Propose and implement enhancements to test frameworks, processes, and methodologies; promote early risk/defect detection, quality testing, and QA best practices for high-quality software delivery
