Responsibilities

Complete investigations for hardware and software customer complaints
Document investigation results in compliance with complaint handling procedures
Assess risk using risk management documentation for both reported and confirmed product events
Analyze complaint data for statistical trends and communicate opportunities for improvement
Develop and implement standard operating procedures and investigative protocols to identify root causes
Work with product development, quality engineering, software engineering, and other departments
Support fault isolation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis during system integration and testing
Apply modern software/hardware design and development tools and techniques
Operate under the guidance of senior engineers or managers
Accountable for meeting deliverable commitments including schedule and quality compliance
Plan and schedule own work, and coordinate with other software engineers
