Requirements

  • BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance Engineering, preferably in the semiconductor industry
  • Experience working as a resident quality engineer or supplier quality engineer is preferred
  • Experience performing quality audits
  • Experienced in 8D, 5 Why, Root Cause Analysis to troubleshoot quality issues
  • Experience in wafer handling, wafer inspection, semiconductor die using microscope (VZM-2000 or Confocal), and RMA (Return Merchandize/ Material Authorization) process
  • Experience with a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment
  • Good communication in English and Mandarin
  • Experienced in MS office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and D365

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Outgoing Inspection process (AOI - Automatic Optical Inspection and VI – Visual Inspection) at the subcontractor site
  • Provide training to new Quality Inspectors
  • Drive root cause analysis process for structure and on-time submission of corrective actions
  • Lead on quality issue troubleshooting and resolutions with the subcontractor
  • Review the effectiveness of actions with the subcontractor
  • Monitor quality engineering activities and report as per company requirements
  • Initiate technical quality improvement process from AOI, VI, and Customer Complaint results
  • Coordinate with Impinj Operation teams in product transfer to different warehouses and customers
  • Support onsite Annual Supplier Audit process
  • Coordinate for Impinj’s Quality System deployment, create and maintain quality standards, and ensure compliance with ISO9001:2015 standard at subcontractor
  • Work with the subcontractor to maintain quality objectives/ KPIs
  • Support Quality Inspection of new products & processes
  • Support RMA (Return of Merchandise Authorization) process
