Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or associate degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspection, document review, or manufacturing QA in aerospace or a regulated industry
  • Understanding of inspection documentation, certifications, and traceability
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and written communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with electronic document systems
  • U.S. citizen or U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder) to comply with ITAR

Responsibilities

  • Review and validate e-Cert packages for hardware, subassemblies, and final assemblies
  • Verify completeness and accuracy of inspection records, test data, and certifications per SpaceX standards
  • Identify and document errors or escapes, communicating findings to Quality and Engineering
  • Ensure compliance with build plans, procedures, and QMS/NASA specifications
  • Maintain traceability between inspection results and associated hardware
  • Generate reports summarizing review metrics, defect trends, and improvement opportunities
