Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in mobile and/or web application testing
  • BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (freshers with experience/training in Quality Engineering and Automation welcome)
  • Strong technical skills in automated testing frameworks (e.g., Appium, Robot, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG)
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Java or Python
  • Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in VoIP, telecommunications, or related communication technologies (significant plus)

Responsibilities

  • Define the scope of functional testing based on application complexity and criticality
  • Develop reusable and maintainable automated test scripts for web and mobile applications
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and continuous execution
  • Execute tests across a wide range of browsers, devices, and operating systems to ensure comprehensive coverage
  • Analyze test results, debug issues, track defects, and collaborate closely with developers to see them through to resolution
  • Generate comprehensive test reports, including execution summaries, defect tracking, and coverage metrics to provide clear insights into product quality
