Position Overview

Deel is seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our cross-functional team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our all-in-one payroll and HR platform, which is designed to unlock global opportunity for every person, team, and business. You will collaborate with Frontend, Backend, Product, Design, and QA teams to develop robust new features, APIs, and continuously improve our industry-leading products.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the entire Software Development Lifecycle, from product discovery to deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FE, BE, Product, Designers, QA) to develop new features and APIs.
  • Continuously improve our industry-leading products and fix bugs at "Deel Speed."
  • Ensure customers receive a white-glove experience with our products.
  • Design, write, run, maintain, and debug applications.
  • Execute both manual and automation testing strategies.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer.
  • Quality Assurance: Excellent understanding of Quality Assurance processes and methodologies (e.g., STD, STP).
  • Work Item Tools: Experience with tools like Jira.
  • SQL: Knowledge of SQL queries.
  • Programming Languages: Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Test Runners: Experience with Mocha/Jest or other test runners.
  • End-to-End Testing: Experience with Playwright/Cypress.
  • API Testing: Experience with Axios/Got/Postman or other tools for REST API testing.
  • CI/CD: Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
