Requirements

  • 5-8 years of PR experience, with a track record of securing product coverage for early-stage SaaS/AI startups (B2B2C experience preferred)
  • Strong network of media contacts across business, tech, SaaS/AI, and enthusiasm for building relationships with new media/creators
  • Passion for products—you get excited about the details and know how to translate them into stories that resonate
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills; able to simplify technical concepts without losing depth
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment: proactive, independent, and able to wear multiple hats
  • Experience managing product reviews, media kits, and launch cycles end-to-end
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with product and comms leadership to identify and elevate key milestones into compelling narratives
  • Lead PR campaigns around product launches, reviews, and feature updates, ensuring consistent and timely storytelling
  • Build and deepen relationships with traditional media, tech press, and emerging creators across social and digital platforms
  • Pitch and secure product and news coverage in a wide range of outlets—from legacy business press to new media and influencers
  • Write and edit press releases, pitches, product messaging, FAQs, and review kits
  • Stay plugged into the competitive landscape to inform positioning and messaging
  • Plan and execute media touchpoints: briefings, product reviews, events, and IRL experiences
  • Measure impact of campaigns and share insights to refine future efforts
