• Flexible: Choose your own set schedule.
• Weekday Shifts: Available anytime between 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Eastern Time.
• Weekend Shifts: Available anytime on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Time.
• Minimum Commitment: 5 hours per week requested for the 1099 role. Ability to flex up and down based on student volumes.
• Summer Hours: Available but not required.
• Preference: Weekend and evening availability is preferred but not required.

Who We're Looking For:

We are seeking a New York Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide virtual therapy to college students. We are eager to welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds who share our commitment to making mental health care accessible and affordable for students across the United States.

Compensation:

• Intake Session (60-minutes): $153 per session completed
• Follow-up Session (30-minutes): $51 per session completed
• No-Shows: $50 for intake no-shows, $25 for follow-up no-shows
• Meetings: $100 per hour for attending NP collaborative meetings and all-hands meetings

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, You Will:

• Conduct high-quality, culturally competent virtual psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments.
• Perform biopsychosocial intakes focused on whole-person care with clear diagnostic assessments.
• Engage with patients through our collaboration portal.
• Collaborate with supervisors, peers, and on-campus treatment providers.
• Document clinical encounters for effective care coordination.
• Partner with our care navigation team to support students.
• Collaborate with campus care teams to create longer-term treatment plans when necessary.

Who You Are:

• Licensure: Hold a valid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in New York. Multi-state licensure is an added advantage.
• Experience: Possess 1+ years of experience in an outpatient community mental health setting.
• Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in treating common mental health conditions among college-aged students, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance use disorders.
• Cultural Competency: Understand culturally responsive treatment and have experience with diverse patient groups.
• Risk Assessment: Be comfortable assessing the urgency of escalating risk scenarios.
• Technical Requirements: Be equipped with a quality video camera and a stable internet connection to facilitate virtual care.
