Requirements

  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering (or a relevant engineering degree) with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2027
  • Experience turning conceptual designs into physical parts/assemblies
  • Experience with creating parts, assemblies, and engineering drawings with CAD software such as NX (preferred) or Solidworks
  • Extensive hands-on experience with rapid prototyping and/or machine shop tools

Responsibilities

  • Design, commission, and troubleshoot test fixtures and rigs
  • Support the mechanical and electrical design, procurement, manufacturing, and assembly of test fixtures and harnesses
  • Integrate flight hardware and commission test fixtures
  • Collaborate with test engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and automate test assets
  • Get familiar with the architecture of test assets, aircraft subsystems, and team processes
