Requirements

  • Proficiency in Clune established systems and technology
  • Ability to prepare accurate and timely budgets, bids, scope reviews, and level trade partner bids
  • Capability to manage project cost control, including monitoring general conditions and labor, monthly billing, and validating trade partner change pricing
  • Experience in minimizing risk through accurate subcontracts, utilizing prequalified trade partners, and obtaining certificates of insurance
  • Heavy coordination skills with superintendent, including frequent site visits
  • Supervisory responsibilities over Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, and/or Intern (may apply)
  • Participation in business development, client relationship management, attending industry events, networking, and career fairs
  • Mentoring and role modeling for Interns, Project Engineers, and APMs, including intern program involvement
  • Active participation in RFP responses, developing presentations, and pitching

Responsibilities

  • Active participation in RFP responses, including developing presentations and participating in the pitch
  • Ensure effective internal team communication flow
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with trade partners and the design team
  • Ensure effective document control reporting and communication flow to the client
  • Prepare accurate and timely budgets and bids, scope reviews, leveling of trade partner bids, and participate in pricing presentations to the client
  • Manage project cost control: monitor general conditions and labor internally, manage monthly billing, review and validate trade partner change pricing
  • Minimize risk by ensuring accurate and complete subcontracts are written and executed timely with prequalified trade partners, and obtain certificates of insurance
  • Heavy coordination with superintendent, including frequent site visits to monitor onsite progress
  • Ensure effective and efficient project closeout: provide documentation to owner, complete punchlist timely, achieve expeditious and accurate financial closeout
  • Support project Team Lead with client retention by adding value in preconstruction, contribute to successful project buyout, accurate cost forecasting, timely billings, and receivables tracking
  • Participate in business development and client relationship management: attend industry events, network, develop relationships with clients and designers
  • Become proficient in and utilize Clune systems and technology for efficient, high-standard work
  • Attend career fairs and client/industry events
  • Contribute to company growth: participate in intern program, mentor Interns, Project Engineers, and APMs
  • Role model professionally for Interns, Project Engineers, and APMs
