Requirements

Degree, HND, or HNC in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Chemical)
Experience in the chemical sector (pharma or biochemical or manufacturing considered)
Strong background in engineering functions and project support
Knowledge of regulatory and statutory engineering requirements
Proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Projects), AutoCAD, and data intelligence solutions
Knowledge of SAP (nice to have)
Familiarity with LEAN tools (VSM, SMED, Kaizen) and continuous improvement
Key competencies: Team working and relationship building, delivering valuable results and performance focus, conceptual and innovative thinking

Responsibilities

Act as the responsible Project Engineer for the site, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining engineering standards
Deliver site engineering systems that support EHS compliance
Contribute to strategic investment planning and provide project support for CAPEX and small projects within budget
Collaborate on preventive maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives
Plan and cost site-managed projects, ensuring timely submission of documentation for approvals
Maintain site drawings and technical information, and provide updates on analytics and automation tools
Support projects to ensure delivery on time, in full, and aligned with corporate engineering requirements
Drive EHS improvements and contribute to Huntsman’s Zero Harm objectives
