Responsibilities

Track progress according to program schedules and goals
Develop solutions to program problems
Participate in the preparations of proposals, plans, and program specifications
Develop project scope documents, project timetables, and other documents provided to Project Managers
Monitor the scheduling, budget, and performance of company programs
Provide input for Gantt or PERT charts or equivalents to track project progress and status
Under guidance, plan and estimate simple projects
Assist in detailed project plans including cost, schedule, and resource requirements
Obtain information from stakeholders during the planning stage of a project
Produce standard project status reports
Contribute to short-term operational plans
Anticipate and adapt to plan changes
Monitor progress of work against plan to meet objectives
Report variances and make agreed-upon corrections
Under guidance, develop tactical plan for own direct responsibility
Interpret process flow diagrams
Explain differences between a process and a project
Identify process management initiatives in own area
