Requirements
Authorization to work in the United States without immigration sponsorship
Ability to work collaboratively and coordinate with departments including System Planning, Engineering, Siting, Real Estate, Engagement and Equity, Regulatory, Procurement, Legal, Scheduling, and Project Management
Cross-functional leadership skills to oversee teams and implement strategies
Familiarity with company safety, procurement policies, and programs
Knowledge of transmission project development aspects including feasibility, planning, siting, permitting, and construction
Ability to develop schedules, budgets, metrics, and documentation for projects
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of a portfolio of strategic ESMP transmission and substation projects from early-stage development to handoff to Project Management Organization
Oversee cross-functional project teams including System Planning, Engineering, Siting, Real Estate, Legal, Project Management, Engagement, Regulatory Affairs, Environmental Affairs, and other stakeholders to establish and organize development plans
Ensure strategic solutions are vetted consistent with company safety and procurement policies
Develop schedules and budgets for ESMP strategic projects in early-stage development and implement them prior to execution
Support development and documentation of company policies related to strategic transmission projects (feasibility, planning, siting, permitting, construction, etc.)
Focus on internal and external collaboration, including stakeholder relationship building
Maintain familiarity with current and upcoming policies and programs facilitating transmission development
Develop metrics with Manager/Director to evaluate transmission project success and track project-level and ESMP program progress; collaborate with other Program Managers
Facilitate discussions with key stakeholders for alignment and information exchange to advance projects
Assist in representing Eversource Transmission on committees, groups, associations, public meetings, regulatory hearings, and town hall meetings
