Position Overview

Twilio is seeking a strategic and operationally-minded Program Manager to lead the company's in-person gatherings. This role is crucial for fostering Twilio's remote-first culture by ensuring meaningful connections among its global workforce of over 5,000 employees. You will be responsible for architecting and executing a vision for how in-person interactions drive company growth and culture.

Responsibilities

  • Define Our Vision: Assess the current state of in-person gatherings, analyze data, identify pain points, and uncover opportunities to enhance team connections and culture.
  • Build the Strategy & Roadmap: Develop a scalable, future-state vision for in-person gatherings aligned with company goals. Create a data-driven roadmap, incorporating recommendations for current platforms and vendor partnerships (e.g., Reed & Mackay, Navan, Gable).
  • Operationalize & Execute: Implement the roadmap, managing program design and execution, and leveraging existing tools, resources, and vendor partnerships.
  • Measure & Iterate: Establish and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including employee/team engagement and spend. Define new metrics and use data to continuously improve the program. Implement systems to track gathering frequency, purpose, and outcomes.
  • Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with procurement, corporate security, real estate, legal, and other departments to ensure program alignment with cross-functional priorities and tool/vendor usage.
  • Provide Executive Updates: Present program strategy, progress, and results to senior leadership, influencing and securing buy-in at all levels.
  • Manage Program Resources & Communications: Own and maintain all program-related resources, including internal intranet pages (Switchboard). Develop and execute communication campaigns for program updates, ensuring employees have accessible information and tools.
