Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, with a Master's degree being a plus. They must have proven working experience in project management, specifically within data services or machine learning projects, along with a strong understanding of data management principles and practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, alongside solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities. A PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification is preferred, and experience with agile methodologies is also desired.
The Program Manager will define project scopes, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders, develop detailed project plans including timelines and resource allocation, coordinate internal resources and third parties, manage project changes, measure project performance, report and escalate issues, perform risk management, and establish relationships with vendors. They will also ensure the availability of high-quality, diverse data sets to support the training and optimization of large language models, implement best practices for data collection, annotation, and validation, and collaborate with data scientists and engineers to meet data needs. Furthermore, they will lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget, drive operational excellence by implementing scalable processes, and create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
