Requirements

  • Understands the scope of programs as defined by business requirements and budget process
  • Participates in key planning milestones and acts as a guide for the core program team from initiation through execution and completion
  • Identifies and obtains participation from required cross-functional core team members, including matrixed project managers, with guidance from Strategic Business Initiative or senior staff
  • Creates program plans and maintains program records
  • Works with the core team to identify and schedule all work required to fulfill program scope, including identification and management of critical path
  • Assists in the development and implementation of key goals, objectives, and success criteria for the program; ensures proper documentation
  • Supports budget and resource forecasting exercises
  • Identifies and analyzes risks and issues
  • Tracks and manages program schedule and task details; analyzes actual performance against the plan and makes adjustments consistent with plan objectives
  • Works with Strategic Business Initiative to assist in action item resolution and track completion; ensures program milestones are accomplished and overall timelines are met
  • Documents all major plan changes in scope, approach, and date delivery
  • Communicates updates on major milestones and keeps all stakeholders informed of progress and issues
  • Manages proposed changes to program parameters and works with Enterprise Program Management and Program Managers to ensure appropriate processes and communications are followed
  • Monitors and ensures quality of program deliverables
  • Works with core team and key field resources to develop and monitor deployment schedule, strategies, and tools to support implementation through trials and controlled customer deployments
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, execute, and oversee program-oriented work efforts within the Comcast Business Mobile Product Team
  • Partner with Product Management, Technology, Operations, and Go-to-Market teams to ensure programs are planned and delivered on schedule, within scope, and to the highest quality standards
  • Implement program management processes and tools to manage timelines, dependencies, and risk mitigation while maintaining clear and proactive communication across stakeholders
  • Work with teams to document program plans, define milestones, monitor progress, and identify and escalate risks or blockers as needed
  • Facilitate recurring cross-functional meetings and forums to align on delivery priorities, manage scope changes, and drive decision-making
  • Track key program metrics, status, and deliverables, providing regular updates and executive-level reporting to leadership
  • Ensure readiness for launches and operational transitions by coordinating across all involved functions
  • Integrate knowledge of business goals and technology priorities to guide program execution and support organizational strategy
  • Manage multiple programs of moderate to high complexity, acting as an essential contributor within the broader Portfolio & Program Management organization
