Responsibilities

Ensure all areas of responsibility are performing within business needs and KPIs are met
Conduct regular one-to-ones and appraisals with reporting lines
Liaise with 3rd party suppliers to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
Review SOPS and amend as necessary
Review losses in the supply chain and resolve with the Profit Protection Team
Offer specialist advice on security and supply chain risk to the wider business
Work with DC Management to develop and implement DC strategies
Challenge and ensure compliance of policies and procedures within DCs and the supply chain
Conduct investigations and root cause analysis of incidents, liaising with other areas as needed
Investigate sensitive internal matters as required
Produce reporting from all areas of responsibility
Conduct random checks on the ePod solution for driver compliance
Conduct out-of-hours checks on locations for consistency and vehicle security
Conduct checks and reviews at DCs and 3rd party suppliers
Work with other partners and agencies to gather intelligence and reduce risk
Attend subsidiaries and satellite locations to ensure checklists are completed and physical security is working correctly
Promote the department’s mission statement and values
Develop and liaise with key stakeholders regarding the Modern Day Slavery Policy
Conduct disciplinary hearings as necessary
Conduct ad-hoc tasks as needed to support business needs
Review data and incidents for accuracy and provide feedback
Ensure hubs/DCs operate to the group model and use correct security methods
Ensure all physical and technical security is working correctly and faults are rectified within a suitable timeframe
Develop and promote corporate policies within the group
Conduct field checks on drivers at delivery locations
