Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), and have at least ten years of related design and project management experience. Strong communication, organizational, and writing skills are also required, along with self-motivation and the ability to work effectively with others.
The Professional Engineer-Project Manager will design civil projects including water mains, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, roads, bridges, and utility infrastructure improvements. They will develop and complete applications, permits, engineering reports, and specifications, prepare and review cost estimates, conduct research and development, monitor project budgets and progress, prepare project status reports, and communicate project details with other design engineers. Responsibilities also include working with and directing a team of design professionals, promoting sales, preparing and reviewing scope, budget, and schedule for project tasks, assisting with proposals and presentations, conducting on-site inspections, attending meetings, and maintaining excellent client relations.
