Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience operating manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment
  • A knack for working with your hands and solving mechanical problems
  • Experience with extrusion or blow molding equipment (a plus, but not required)
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics or electromechanical systems (helpful, but not required)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

  • Operate extrusion and blow-molding production machines to keep production moving smoothly
  • Adjust machine settings for heat, cooling and pressure, as needed
  • Troubleshoot equipment and handle basic maintenance tasks
  • Check product quality to ensure everything meets customer standards
  • Work as part of a shift team to solve problems and improve processes
  • Keep learning and growing with on-the-job training and Plastipak Academy courses

Base hourly pay starts at $20+ depending on experience, with $1.50 more per hour for Night Shift and Double-Time Pay on Sundays (12 hours work for 24 hours pay every other Sunday).
