Requirements

At least 1 year of experience operating manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment
A knack for working with your hands and solving mechanical problems
Experience with extrusion or blow molding equipment (a plus, but not required)
Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics or electromechanical systems (helpful, but not required)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

Operate extrusion and blow-molding production machines to keep production moving smoothly
Adjust machine settings for heat, cooling and pressure, as needed
Troubleshoot equipment and handle basic maintenance tasks
Check product quality to ensure everything meets customer standards
Work as part of a shift team to solve problems and improve processes
Keep learning and growing with on-the-job training and Plastipak Academy courses

Base hourly pay starts at $20+ depending on experience, with $1.50 more per hour for Night Shift and Double-Time Pay on Sundays (12 hours work for 24 hours pay every other Sunday).
