Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives to achieve productivity targets through cost reduction, total landed cost (TLC) analysis, and financial modeling. Partner with finance teams to forecast savings, track performance against budgets, and ensure alignment with business plans
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies that balance cost, quality, and risk. Collaborate across functional teams and suppliers, including supplier quality, engineering, and central sourcing colleagues to qualify suppliers in the region according to regulatory requirements
  • Identify and qualify new suppliers globally, with a focus on cost competitiveness and financial stability. Drive localization strategies and supplier development programs to reduce dependency and improve cost structure
  • Develop, work on, and support cost-out projects and supplier transfers to achieve business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers, including operations, engineering, supplier quality, and central sourcing colleagues to execute and complete projects in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Work across commodities, MR production sourcing leaders, and magnetic resonance engineering to anticipate market changes and volatility risks exposing the future design and install base by executing strategic sourcing solutions
