Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or above
  • Automation and production scheduling experience desired
  • Working Knowledge of Data Gathering & Analysis (follows processes, reports problems, participates in gathering/analyzing data, documents data, uses basic tools)
  • Working Knowledge of Planning: Tactical, Strategic (contributes to short-term plans, adapts to changes, monitors progress, reports variances, develops tactical plans under guidance)
  • Working Knowledge of Problem Solving (identifies/documents problems and alternatives, understands stakeholder perspectives, develops assessment techniques, analyzes risks/benefits, uses fact-finding/diagnostic tools)
  • Working Knowledge of Forecasting (participates in short-term forecasts, gathers/analyzes demand data, locates information for forecasts, researches seasonal trends, explains business conditions impacting demand)
  • Working Knowledge of Production Scheduling and Control (knowledge of procedures/tools for scheduling/controlling production runs, utilizes daily manufacturing knowledge)

Responsibilities

  • Supervises, schedules, coordinates, and controls complex production schedules
  • Reviews and manages the production process efficiency and quality
  • Analyzing and troubleshooting planned production scheduling problems; recommending process improvements to optimize the scheduling process
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve product-related issues and incorporate customer and business requirements
  • Owning and driving production schedules; reviewing workflow of production workers, inventory levels, capacity constraints, machine breakdowns, product quality, etc. to ensure operational excellence
