Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of related experience (purchasing or planning accounts/commodities) with a Bachelor’s Degree (or may be trained)
Manufacturing experience
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfort with complexity and ambiguity
Demonstrated ability to interact with team members at all levels
Strong attention to detail, listening skills, influencing style, and proactive measures
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Bilingual (English and Korean)

Responsibilities

Organize production according to demand and quality standards
Handle production planning, capacity planning, and scheduling following customers’ requirements and sales team requests
Establish production schedule for each order and communicate/resolve issues related to discrepancies between requested and promised due dates
Interface with customers, suppliers, and internal resources for management
Manage assurance of supply issues
Monitor material market conditions, develop, and communicate plans to mitigate risk to customer schedule
Interface daily with Manufacturing Manager to communicate schedule changes
Contribute to cost reduction program by making viable business recommendations and process improvement ideas
Create and maintain tracking tools for cost reduction initiatives
