Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Software Development
  • Experience in HL7 (V2, FHIR) is required
  • Successful completion of coding camp / diploma / undergraduate degree
  • Experience with developing software applications, unit and functional test practices
  • Experience in end-to-end feature development
  • Experience building complex systems
  • Experience with Hibernate, Spring, REST web services, Git is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and evaluating requirements and proposing high-level design and technical solutions to issues
  • Analyzing solutions to ensure interoperability, performance, and maintainability
  • Working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams to diagnose and correct issues
  • Collaborating with coredev and client solutions teams to ensure fixes meet technical requirements
  • Supporting the mentoring of Tier 1 and Tier 2 staff and other developers
  • Participating in major incident response teams
  • Ensuring relevant documentation and frameworks are kept up to date
  • Researching technologies for new and existing modules
  • Working with all areas of the business to gather product requirements and design, implement, and test components
  • Advising and providing input into technical design and industry trends
  • Analyzing and solving problems, identifying issues, and applying solutions
  • Responsible for mentoring, coaching, and leading less experienced developers
  • Proposing new techniques and technologies for software development
  • Responsible for coding standards of the team/department
  • Responsible for tools and frameworks used by the team/department
  • Break down work for other team members and be the go-to person for project issues/status
