Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent writing skills, including research, organization, formatting, and editing
  • Appropriate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and/or experience with SAP
  • Firm understanding of manufacturing and prototype builds
  • Welding knowledge preferred
  • Good work record, including strong self-motivation, high productivity, reliable attendance, attention to quality, ability to learn new skills, and a cordial, cooperative personality

Responsibilities

  • Read, analyze, and interpret information from sources including Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Redmarked prints (RMP), Bill of Materials (BOM), Parts pages, PPD Change Request Document (CRD), and other SAP requirements
  • Work with supervisors, leads, engineers, and employees to determine necessary document changes
  • Research, edit, and obtain proper approval of documents
  • Maintain schedules and set priorities
  • Observe the process of manufacturing Ditch Witch equipment
  • Interview other employees to obtain information
  • Organize information
  • Use MS Word, PowerPoint, CAD, and SAP to track and change documents
  • Prepare documents for printing and electronic publishing
  • Organize, communicate, maintain, and update computer files of product-related documents
  • Maintain the location and description of all controlled parts page documentation for updating, retrieving, and removal of use
  • Maintain positive relationships with supervisors and co-workers
  • Meet expectations for creativity, quality, productivity, technical knowledge, leadership, attention to detail, motivation of others, and safety
  • Perform other duties as assigned
