Requirements

High school Degree, HSED, GED or Equivalent
Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing industry
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds at shoulder height
Ability to wear various grades of PPE, including fully-covered Tyvek suit, shroud, nitrile gloves and booties for extended periods of time with reasonable levels of accommodation for heat/humidity
Basic level proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP and LIMS
Export compliance eligibility (U.S. citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, asylee/refugee, national of non-prohibited country via letter of assurance, or approved for export license)

Responsibilities

Performs all operational steps for powdered starting material, including blending, milling, concentrating off Isopropyl alcohol (IPA), vacuum drying and calcination
Completes blend calculations
Sets up and runs mills and monitors process
Performs Particle Size Distribution analysis on milled material
Reads SOP’s & Work Instructions
Prepares reaction vessels for the next run by rinsing, disassembling, ultrasonic cleaning and wiping
Loads reaction vessels with prepared chemicals by pouring, scooping or mechanically dispensing
Removes materials from the reaction vessels and cleans reaction vessels
