High School Diploma/GED or local equivalent or 6 months of manufacturing experience
Ability to communicate, receive and understand instructions regarding duties to be performed
Demonstrated ability to detail and quality-minded work habits
Demonstrated ability to communicate with co-workers and leadership
Willing to submit to a background investigation (e.g., verification of past employment, criminal history, educational background)
Willing to take a drug test
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Willing to work out of an office located in Salt Lake City, Utah
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (floor to waist, waist to crown level, horizontally)
Able to perform frequent simple grasping, firm grasping, fine manipulation, neck rotation, and neck flexion
Able to twist, push/pull, reach at, above and below shoulder height frequently
Able to frequently stoop and bend; occasionally squat and kneel
Able to stand/sit continuously throughout the day
Able to ascend/descend/balance occasionally on portable step stool
Complies with attendance policies and willing to work voluntary overtime when needed

Responsibilities

Performs entry to mid-level manufacturing/assembly operations on production line and other various tasks following procedures, work instructions, and process aid sheets
Uses lift platforms, hoist, torque tools, and other power hand tools to assemble machines
Reads and follows work procedures or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed
Maintains daily production output
Cross trains and works in multiple functions for business flexibility
Follows all EHS and Quality policies and procedures
May participate in quality control inspections
Works with team lead, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and process efficiency
Complies with EHS regulations and policies
Other duties as assigned, including quality activities, training sessions, and employee activity teams
Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within defined deadlines
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Knowledge and understanding of production process, work instructions, documentation configuration control, non-conforming & rework documentation requirements
Aware of and comply with Stop Order, Concessions, ESD, Calibration, Preventative Maintenance, Material Identification & Segregation, and Good Documentation Practices
