Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety rules and regulations during the shift, using company resources and aligning with the company's EHS policy
  • Review, maintain, and comply with EHS standards and procedures at the site
  • Communicate management actions and company future prospects to all associates in a timely manner
  • Manage shift staff and ensure quality targets are achieved by adhering to the company’s Quality Systems, processes, and procedures for smooth production
  • Review, monitor, measure, and report on production operation-related process performance, 100% RFT, improve efficiency at minimum operating cost, manage Project Management Office, and address general issues of all associates
  • Work closely with other Shift Incharges to ensure production handovers are done with effective communication tools
  • Review, monitor, and measure the company’s continuous improvement plan, 5S Programme, and Waste Management Programme; work with Shift Incharge and production associates to achieve plans for future growth
  • Work closely with Shift Incharge to monitor, review training schedule plans, and training effectiveness for Production associates and contract associates to enhance skills periodically
  • Manage, develop, and motivate direct reporting staff
  • Conduct production meetings with QC and Maintenance departments regularly to ensure hassle-free operations and work on the Minutes of Meeting (MOM)
  • Ensure daily standing meetings in the presence of QC, Maintenance, and SCM are executed productively
  • Conduct meetings with Assistant Production Manager regularly, presenting current production performance, resource demands, and discussing future plans
  • Verify stock for Raw Material and Packing Material and report to Assistant Production Manager
  • Accountable for multiple audits including EHS, Inventory, ISO, and Responsible Care
  • Coordinate with Sales team/CSR team for customer feedback reviews and attend product complaints with speedy RCA documentation through QA/QC
  • Identify improvement opportunities following LEAN principles
