Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 6+ months of manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks
  • Comfortable working in hot environments (temperatures up to 100°F)
  • Basic computer, math, reading, and writing skills
  • Strong attention to safety, quality, and teamwork
  • Must be able to wear required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, uniform, and safety boots)

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor automated shipping and decorating line equipment
  • Perform process and quality checks to ensure product meets customer specifications
  • Retrieve and follow specifications from the computer terminal
  • Remove process vents, decorate batteries, and reapply finish vents
  • Polish terminals and test quality using equipment such as Bitrode or manual Hi-Rater
  • Palletize batteries per customer requirements using OPS procedures and equipment
  • Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance within scope of role
  • Rotate through line positions to maintain production flow and efficiency
  • Maintain accurate production counts and documentation
  • Keep work area clean and orderly; support regular housekeeping and 5S
