Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and manufacturing procedures
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units
  • Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards
  • Repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels
  • Keep daily assembly production records
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Work under the close direction of senior personnel or supervisor
