Responsibilities

Operate and maintain stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and manufacturing procedures
Use hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units
Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards
Repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels
Keep daily assembly production records
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Work under the close direction of senior personnel or supervisor
