Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, automotive, marketing or related fields
  • Min. 5 - 7 years’ experience within Sales, Marketing and Engineering
  • Demonstrated technical and education skills in the Aftermarket
  • Strong understanding of product portfolio – vehicle applications
  • Proven concept development skills
  • Ability to work in and influence teams
  • Experience of utilizing technology in the delivery of training such as webinars, social media
  • Self-starter, able to generate own appointments and develop technical discussions into sales opportunities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Fluency in English (business proficiency), additional languages are advantageous
  • Expertise in the MS Office tools e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
  • Willingness and availability to travel min. 75% of the time for face-to-face trainings

Responsibilities

  • Lead regional IAM (Independent After Market) Product and Technical Training strategy in a close collaboration with Business Development, Central Training Department, Marketing, Trade Marketing and After Sales Services teams
  • Be a consultant to our 1st, 2nd and 3rd trade level customers on all technical aspects, current and future developments of battery technology and the impacts on the vehicles and the workshops
  • Support Product and Technical Training strategy delivering content around products and applications
  • Conduct trainings on battery technologies, diagnostics, detailed fitting instructions as well as vehicle electronics systems
  • Plan, organize and do trainings to continuously enhance Business Development Organization’s and customers’ ability to sell Clarios product & services clearly identifying value proposition and differentiators against competitors
  • Development and adaptation of training materials regarding Product, Vehicle systems, and services value proposals to different stakeholders (Workshop mechanics, First Trade level customers and Clarios employees), securing right distribution and acknowledgment at all markets keeping training material up-to-date
  • Continuously explore and develop innovative training concepts and mechanisms and lead for the right implementation at market level
  • Explore and develop synergies as needed within the Automotive Industry or Training Suppliers
  • Bring technical support and guidance in complex situations when local organizations are not able to support
  • Close collaboration with After Sales Services, Trade Marketing and Business Development to support development of concepts related to technical support to mechanics and customers
  • Manage and update databases (MMS, TecDoc, or similar)
  • Lead and coaching of team members
