Requirements
Candidates should have 2-4+ years of experience in a security engineering role and fluency in both a compiled, statically typed language and an interpreted, dynamically typed language. Practical application of secure design patterns and expertise with high availability and large system design patterns, including microservice architectures and distributed systems, is required. Strong skills in evaluating application risks through formal and informal methods are essential, along with the ability to influence others and build relationships to achieve complex goals under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
The Product Security Software Engineer will architect and implement security frameworks to protect distributed services and strengthen identity and access controls. They will adopt and enforce cryptography best practices, conduct threat modeling, security assessments, and penetration testing to identify and remediate vulnerabilities. Additionally, the role involves hardening cloud, container, and orchestration environments, as well as collaborating with engineering teams to integrate security best practices in CI/CD pipelines.
