Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with product managers, engineers, researchers, and executives. The ideal candidate is comfortable with ambiguity, enjoys creating new processes from scratch, is a creative thinker who can leverage data for policy development, and understands how government, enterprise, and other stakeholders approach cyber policy.
The Product Policy Manager will lead the company's approach to cyber usage by setting acceptable use policies and collaborating with investigative, integrity, safety, and operations teams to detect and address misuse. This role involves providing tailored policy advice to technical teams, translating policy considerations for technical teams and vice versa, and developing operationalizable implementation standards and enforcement protocols. The manager will also identify opportunities to use data to inform policy work and align diverse teams and stakeholders across product, legal, research, intelligence, global affairs, and communications.
