Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in product management or software development, preferably for eCommerce/payments products with a large user base. Tax expertise is a must
  • Experience working with International markets and in developing products for multiple geographies
  • Strong grounding in tax concepts (e.g. direct & indirect taxes, regional tax obligations), audits and regulatory frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Define tax product vision and roadmaps across technology components. Clearly set the product prioritization with a balance of near-term deliverables and longer-term investment in technology platforms
  • As the Product Owner, co-lead the Agile scrum team with the engineering counterpart to complete the tax product roadmap with clear achievements
  • Synthesize market changes and technology improvements into practical improvements for the tax platform
  • Partner closely with internal and external customers to provide a global viewpoint and extend applications across use cases and geographies
  • Define a compelling multi-year roadmap for tax technology product development, leveraging a deep understanding of tax objectives, operational pain points, and business needs
  • Communicate product updates and progress to stakeholders, including executives, team members, and customers
  • Act as a subject matter expert on tax regulations and provide guidance and support to other teams within the company
