Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with platform or shared service ownership

  • Demonstrated ability to lead globally distributed engineering teams and deliver product outcomes
  • Ability to simplify complex technical challenges and communicate clearly with stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills—comfortable managing multiple initiatives
  • Experience writing product/technical requirements and collaborating closely with engineering
  • Analytical mindset with experience using tools like Excel and SQL
  • Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Google Suite, Confluence, and JIRA
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for the ERP Gateway—Emburse’s shared integration platform
  • Drive delivery of scalable, secure integrations between Emburse products and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks)
  • Translate integration requirements into clear product specs and technical direction for engineering
  • Manage and prioritize the backlog, balancing feature delivery, customer needs, and technical debt
  • Lead agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups) and ensure smooth execution with global engineering teams
  • Communicate milestones, tradeoffs, and decisions to Product, Engineering, and Customer Success stakeholders
  • Maintain stability and enhancements of a legacy integration platform sharing the Gateway’s framework
  • Monitor customer feedback, market trends, and competing solutions to guide prioritization and innovation
  • Partner with leadership on long-term integration strategy, including future expansion into HRIS and additional financial systems
