Responsibilities

  • Assist in the NPI process to ensure on-time product launches, working alongside global product team, global engineering, and brand teams (becoming the product expert for assigned projects)
  • Create and manage launch documents in line with the Launch Window process
  • Work with local marketing and commercial teams to create promotional kits and execute product modifications
  • Review and undertake market and competitor reviews and assist the team with customer research
  • Review and report on performance indicators for assigned product portfolios and projects
  • Act as the guardian for data integrity relating to the DEWALT product portfolio
  • Own the product launch process and hit key phase gate dates on time (new SKU set-up, working with global team for packaging and artwork documentation, working with factories and vendors to approve product)
  • Create launch information (API documents, updating NPI tracker and SharePoint sites, Riversand data management)
  • Manage life cycle and range (ongoing range sales analysis and product menu management, working with markets to hit SKU rationalisation targets, identify range gaps for customer range reviews/tenders)
  • Work with brand and communications team to ensure new products are fully briefed with full details to maximise market potential (e.g., arranging and coordinating POS materials)
  • Carry out user research to identify new opportunities and ensure product development meets user needs
  • Collate competitor benchmarking on NPI and promotions
  • Be the first point of contact on all EMEA ANZ country product-related enquiries for the DEWALT portfolio
