Requirements

  • Successfully completed bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably in engineering, computer sciences/digital area and/or business administration
  • Digital experience and product portfolio knowledge
  • More than 6+ years’ experience in Med Tech, technology/software as a product industry and functionally in digital, R&D, marketing, product management (or similar area)
  • Relevant knowledge and experience of 4+ years in at least one of the following functional areas: EHR/HIS systems, interoperability, clinic processes, artificial intelligence (AI), edge computing
  • Proven track record of 2+ years in setting up and leading global initiatives with global teams in a complex matrix organization
  • Proven track record in cross-functional collaboration with R&D counterparts, sales, marketing, quality, regulatory, product management, and customers
  • Deep knowledge and experience in product management and application of methods and tools
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial/business, customer first, global mindset and willingness for occasional business trips
  • Fluent in English, in written and spoken; knowledge of German would be a plus

Responsibilities

  • Define new business models for digital products and ensure continuous alignment among product portfolio, especially with overall ecosystem and In-Center strategy
  • Conduct market assessments for key products, i.e. market segmentation, market quantification
  • Define customer needs, develop product vision, strategy and roadmap, check and validate product market fit
  • Drive connectivity products from next gen portfolio such as EHR/HIS Integration, Therapy Data Supply (HL7, FHIR), Edge, Next Gen Peripheral Integration in combination with existing products such as 7Connect and UDL
  • Close collaboration with local/regional marketing/sales/product management teams to elaborate go-to-market strategies and concepts for target markets
  • Monitor competitor landscape and derive conclusions for competitiveness, product strategy, positioning, pricing and roadmap, business case per product
  • Prioritization of features and functions, definition of releases and product increments, overseeing the development and releases of the product; collaboration with internal and external partners, stakeholder communication
  • Drive commercialization and market launch together with local/regional marketing, sales and join customer meetings for lead generation and/or pitches
  • Continuously drive creation of new product ideas, create ideation campaigns, and perform market validations in close cooperation with sales, marketing, and corresponding value streams
  • Increase the team and product success through managerial skills or technical breadth, being able to cope with ambiguity
  • Share the broad business perspective with others
  • Work and co-lead closely across cultures and organizations
  • Represent the organization effectively to cross-functional stakeholders, clients, and external groups
