Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for both embedded lending/Lending-as-a-Service and first-party lending products, aligning with Airwallex’s strategic goals and market opportunities
Create and implement business plans to establish and scale the lending and credit product line, including full P&L ownership, setting financial targets, managing budgets, and driving business growth
Partner with global commercial teams and key customers to deeply understand critical customer problems and identify the right segments to serve
Establish and nurture strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, credit bureaus, and regulatory bodies to support business growth and scalability
Collaborate closely with the credit risk team to develop and implement credit risk policies that align with business goals, and manage risks across the lending portfolio
Maintain a detailed understanding of the SME banking and embedded lending sectors, including current market structures, regulatory requirements
Build a team dedicated to lending and credit
Take full ownership of the product’s P&L
